  Frequently Asked Questions

Q:  How can I access my accounts online?  How much does it cost?

A:  Any of our Financial Services Representatives can set you up with a custom access ID and Password.  From there you can see your current activity, access copies of your statements and checks, and pay your bills online 24 hours per day 7 days per week.

Online access with Bill Pay is a service we provide free to our Providence Bank customers.

Q:  Why should I bank with a “one branch” bank?  How can it serve all my needs?

A:  Providence Bank employs the latest technology to provide the highest levels of service and convenience to our customers. Online banking allows our personal and business customers 24/7 access from anywhere via the internet.   Current cash management services including remote deposit allows high volume business customers the convenience of making deposits from their office.  Providence debit cards provide liability protection while allowing our customers to access funds, make transfers, and check balances free at any ATM nationwide. We never charge you for using any ATM and we refund charges that other banks impose for using their ATM.  Call us at 678-624-2265 to see how you can bank nationwide from our one branch bank!

Q:  How can I order more checks for my account?  Can I order checks online?

A:  Providence Bank is happy to announce that we have recently partnered with Main Street Checks to service our customers’ check printing needs.  Please call us at 678-624-2265 for check reorders.  Online check ordering will be available via our website once order history is established.

Q:  Is my money as safe at Providence Bank as it is at a large multi-branch bank?

A:  A. All deposits at Providence Bank are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. Deposits at all FDIC insured institutions are insured up to at least $250,000 per depositor. Two individuals are currently able to insure $1,500,000 at any one FDIC insured institution. To find out more, please call one of our Financial Service Representatives, or click here to access “EDIE”, FDIC’s online insurance estimator.
